Terms of Use
Effective October 4, 2026These terms cover your use of the BiteGrid app and website, made by Upswing Projects LLC ("we"). By using BiteGrid you agree to them.
Forecasts
The Bite Score and all fishing forecasts are estimates for recreation. Weather, tide and water conditions change quickly. You are responsible for checking official forecasts, marine warnings and conditions before and during any trip.
Fishing rules and regulations
Seasons, size and bag limits and other rules shown in BiteGrid come from FWC and are for reference only. They can be out of date or not cover your exact location. You are responsible for following all current fishing regulations (including Florida FWC seasons, size and bag limits, licenses and closed areas) and boating laws. Check myfwc.com before you fish.
Tournament Mode
- Organizers are solely responsible for their tournaments: the rules, the fishing area, judging, prizes, entry fees, any permits or licenses needed, and following the law (including any rules on contests and prizes). We provide the tool, not the event, and aren't a party to any arrangement between organizers and anglers.
- Anglers take part under the organizer's rules. Judges' and organizers' decisions are theirs, not ours.
- Reminders and notifications can be delayed, missed or wrong (for example with no signal, a wrong device clock or notifications turned off). Always keep track of the tournament's times yourself.
- Area checks, time checks and photo checks help judges but aren't guaranteed to be accurate.
Your content
BiteGrid has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
- You keep ownership of what you add: names, team names, photos, catches and tournament details.
- You let us store, process and show that content as needed to run BiteGrid: tournament content to that tournament's members, as described in the Privacy Policy, and for public tournaments the tournament's name, organizer name, area, dates and details to all BiteGrid users.
- Only add content you have the right to share. Don't add anything illegal, offensive, harassing, misleading or someone else's photos or personal information, and don't use a name that impersonates someone. BiteGrid filters some offensive words in names and refuses a name already used in the same tournament, but you remain responsible for what you add.
- Organizers can remove a member from their tournament. Anyone can hide a public tournament, or block its organizer, on their own device.
- We may remove content, remove a member or block access to a tournament that breaks these terms. We review reports within 24 hours. To report content, tap Report on the tournament's screen or email hello@upswingprojects.com with the tournament name and what you saw.

We may update these terms. We will change the effective date above, and continued use means you accept the new terms.
